Meet Our Team

Dr. Jennifer L. Rawlins, MD, IFMCP
Dr. Jennifer Rawlins is a board-certified family physician and Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP) with more than 25 years of experience guiding patients toward health and wholeness. After earning her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and completing her Family Medicine Residency at St. Francis in Indianapolis, where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Rawlins began a career dedicated to caring for patients of all ages with compassion and integrity.
Her early years in medicine included full-spectrum family care—obstetrics, inpatient hospital care, and geriatrics. Over time, she felt called to go deeper, helping patients not only manage illness but uncover the root causes of their symptoms and restore vitality. This led her to pursue advanced training in functional and lifestyle medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, obesity medicine, nutrition, and integrative care.
Dr. Rawlins’ approach is rooted in listening deeply, meeting patients where they are, and working side by side in partnership. She emphasizes collaboration, education, and empowerment—equipping each person with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to take an active role in their healing journey.
Her areas of focus include:
- Hormonal health and bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT)
- Weight management and metabolic health
- Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
- Digestive and gastrointestinal health
- Preventive and lifestyle medicine
In addition to patient care, Dr. Rawlins has held leadership roles as Chief of Staff at Wayne Hospital, a member of its Medical Executive Committee, and Medical Director for Versailles EMS. She also serves as a preceptor for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Patients describe her as approachable, thorough, and compassionate. She sees health as more than the absence of disease—it is balance, resilience, and the ability to thrive in body, mind, and spirit.

Kim Borchers
I see myself as a personalized guide, helping individuals achieve their health goals through an individualized, whole-person approach. I believe that no two health journeys are the same, and understanding your why—what truly motivates you—is the key to creating lasting change.
I bring a fresh set of eyes to your habits and daily routines, assessing what you’re currently doing and identifying practical tweaks that can make your plan more efficient and effective. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I coach from a functional health perspective because I believe the body has an incredible ability to heal when supported properly. Through real food, herbs, vitamins, and natural lifestyle changes, I help you work with your body—not against it—to restore balance and optimize health.

Kylie Johnson, RD
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to helping individuals improve their health through a functional medicine approach that prioritizes nutrition and lifestyle as the foundation for wellness. I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University and completed my Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Ball State University, where I developed a strong background in evidence-based nutrition and individualized care.
My passion for functional medicine is rooted in the understanding that food and daily habits have a profound impact on the body’s ability to function optimally. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I aim to address root causes by emphasizing nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that influence gut health, metabolic function, hormone balance, and inflammation. I believe nutrition is one of the most powerful tools for healing, and that sustainable lifestyle changes are key to achieving long-term health outcomes.
Outside of my professional work, I am married and a proud mother of two sons. I enjoy spending time outdoors through camping, hiking, and running, and I value quality time with my family. These experiences reinforce my belief that a healthy lifestyle is not just something practiced in a clinic, but something we live every day.
